Kantanka Automobiles makes solar mini cars for the Ghana market

Ghanaian technology company Kantanka Automobiles is introducing solar powered smaller cars for the Ghanaian market.
In a strategy to provide consumers especially those who prefer mini cars this will promote the use of home grown technologies and also take advantage of the abundant sunshine available over a tropical country like Ghana.

The Ghana automobile industry has an appeciable demand for cars especially with the growing popularity of ride hailing transport services such as Uber, Yango and Bolt. This has generated the need for smaller cars as most drivers prefer them to bigger fuel inefficient cars.

With fuel consumption being a factor for the preference for a fuel efficient vehicle like this one by Kantanka, the cost of vehicles is also a major factor to consider.

It appears calls for Kantanka Automobiles to manufacture smaller automobiles for consumers has been heeded to as the engineering outfit initially introduced SUVs for the market. Even much better a solar powered car will make the cost of running a vehicle like this cheaper.

In a post online, the CEO of the company Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena published a video of their latest product.
