I sold over 3000 tickets for my last movie premiere – Yvonne Nelson

Celebrated Ghanaian actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson has echoed the love and support Ghanaians show her in her career.

Speaking in an interview with Giovani on the 3FM drive, Yvonne Nelson said she sold over 3000 tickets in less than 3 hours at her last movie premiere.

She disclosed that the premiere of “The Men We Love” which they thought would last for just two sessions went deep into the night and fans were still asking for more.

“we sold over 3000 movie tickets as at 9 pm during my last premier. People were still coming and we ended up closing late in the night,” she disclosed in excitement.

Speaking about her new project, “Fifty Fifty”, Yvonne expressed optimism and said she believes this will break her previous record judging from the reception she has been receiving from her fans so far.

“Fifty Fifty” is a movie produced by Yvonne Nelson which stars Majid Michelle, John Dumelo, Tiktok star Jackline Mensah and a list of other celebrities.

Touching on the plot, Yvonne Nelson simply said that “Fifty Fifty” is movie about two men who fall in love with the same lady.

It is set to premiere on Saturday, May 21st at the Silverbird Cinemas.
