KOD returns to Radio Gold after 7 years

Ghanaian broadcaster, Kofi Okyere Darko popularly known as KOD is set to return to Radio Gold.

This comes as good news to radio lovers as the broadcaster cum fashion mogul will return to radio after a long hiatus.

Marking his grand return to radio, the broadcaster will join his early day station, Radio Gold shortly after its resumption.

He will be hosting the ‘Feel Good Friday’ show from 20th May 2022.

Taking to social media to share the news, KOD wrote: “I thought I’d retired from the media. Join me this Friday from 7 pm on what was once GH’s biggest Friday rendezvous on radio.”

KOD is widely known as a pioneer of the Accra-based radio station which was shut down in 2019 by the National Communications Authority in what many have classified as a politically motivated move.

KOD joined Starr FM in 2015 and signed out five years later in 2020 to concentrate on fashion and his craft as a Master of Ceremonies.
